The E36's ASC system uses an auxillary throttle body to cut throttle during wheel slip condiditons. Unfortunatley, this system results in power cuts at unexpected times leading to a frustrating and less connected driving experience. By removing the ASC throttle body, you can prevent power cuts and has an added benefit of slightly improving flow to the engine.
